FIFA 21 Dominate Liga MX : Klopp’s Liverpool 4-3-3

Jurgen Klopp has revolutionized Liverpool since taking over in 2015, and many teams have tried to imitate his gegenpressing style to no avail. Here at ETO, we will break down his style for you on FIFA 21 so you can take your play to the next level.

Tactics:

On defense, Klopp’s squads are notorious for their pressing, in this case, set your defense to Press After Possession Loss. Width and depth are important in this scheme as well, width should be set at four and depth at 8.

On offense, set to fast build-up with width at 8. Players in the box should be set at 7 and for corners and free-kicks set at four.

Now the fun part, setting up you 4-3-3 to mimic Klopp’s Liverpool.
First, you will need to adjust both your fullbacks. Move both fullbacks up a few steps to make the wingbacks, this will give your team more width and is fundamental in the team’s performance.

While you’re free to try these tactics with your favorite team, I suggest using Monterrey. They have a roster built for these schemes and would keep transfers to a minimum. If you were to swap players, look to add solid wingback depth as rotation will play a big part in keeping your team injury and fatigue-free.
