GALAXY FALL AT HOME AGAINST ORLANDO
Saturday March 19, 2022 marks the 6th MLS regular season meeting between LA Galaxy and Orlando, Galaxy leading the series 3-2-0
The first goal came in early for the visiting team, Orlando leads 1-0 with a goal from Facundo Torres, making his first goal for the squad. After a defensive blunder by Depuy just outside the box, Ercan Kara stole the ball and crossed it to Torres.
The first opportunity for the home team came at minute 15. With an Assist by Rayan Raveloson, Chicharito takes a shot from the center of the box, but the attempt is saved. Although the Galacticos maintained the most ball possession, very few opportunities for goal were created. The visiting team takes the lead during halftime 1-0.
With Julian Araujo and Chicharito playing in the first half, Efrain Alvarez joined them at the start of the second. After a scoreless second half for both teams, Orlando’s eleven were able to get their first away win of the season. Meanwhile, Greg Vanney’s Galaxy suffered their second defeat. They will play at Portland on April 3rd hoping to obtain the win.
