Jimenez headlines the Mextranjeros around the world
There were a couple of good matchups today in the English Premier League and Serie A. Both resulted positive for the Mexican players who played today with their team. As we continue to keep up with these players and their development, we also get to see great soccer that never disappoints no matter who is on the pitch.
Raul Jimenez can’t stop scoring!
The Mexican Wolf scored an absolute screamer from about 25 yards out that opened up the score against Newcastle United. Jimenez played the entire match, but even with that amazing goal, Wolverhampton fell short and allowed a late free-kick goal, which led to the eventual 1-1 draw. Raul continues to be one of the most successful forward in the Premier League. We expect to see Jimenez perform this way for El Tri in major tournaments and international dates around the corner.
Hirving Lozano plays 58 minutes for Napoli
Napoli won today two goals to one over Benevento as Chucky played 58 minutes. He was subbed out and replaced by Matteo Politano. Having no impact on Napoli’s goals as they came after he was taken out of the match. He did create some opportunities during his time on the pitch that was cut short. One can imagine that tension between Lozano and Gatusso remains high as El Chucky could have played longer today and possibly scored a goal with the number of shots taken by Napoli. Their next matchup in Serie A will be against Real Sociedad on October 29th.
As we continue to watch the impact the Mexican players are making across Europe, we realize that they represent a country that can make a huge impact in major tournaments and the youth looking up to them and hopes for one day to play at the same level.
