Jiménez remains unstoppable, leads MEXtranjeros Super 5 Rankings

It was an all-around incredible week for the MEXtranjero legion, here’s this week’s Super 5 Rankings!

5. Hector Herrera – FC Porto

Herrera participated in his club’s victory while playing seventy-eight minutes on the field. Herrera gave a warning shot to his rivals after placing a hard shot attempt on the crossbar. Porto lands in second place in the standings while Benfica leads with goals in favor.

4. Jesus “Tecatito” Corona – FC Porto

After a fantastic performance in the UEFA Champions league, Tecatito was able to get two shots on goal and an assist in Porto’s successful 3-0 result over Maritimo. Tecatito stayed on the field for the entire game.

3. Carlos Vela – Los Angeles Football Club

Vela saved LAFC after earning two goals to equalize against New York City FC. Carlos Vela now has three goals in the season and keeps LAFC unbeaten with two wins and one draw.

2. Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez – West Ham United

Chicharito became West Ham’s game hero after coming in a substitute when his team was losing 2-3. He scored two goals in the last five minutes to win 4-3 against Huddersfield. Chicharito added his sixth and seventh goals in the Premier League season.

1. Raúl Jiménez – Wolverhampton FC

Jiménez carries the number one spot on our MEXtranjero list after another great week! Raúl scored in Wolverhampton’s victory in the FA Cup quarterfinals, eliminating Manchester United. RJ9 netted his third goal in the tournament and will face Watford in semi-finals.

Honorable Mentions:

Jonathan Dos Santos (LA Galaxy) scored a penalty against Minnesota United.

Diego Lainez (Real Betis) played twenty-two minutes and made an assist for a goal against Barcelona.

Hirving “Chucky” Lozano (PSV Eindhoven) scored the game-winner against VVV-Venlo.

Antonio “El Pollo” Briseno (Feirense) gained his second goal with his club.
