LAFC Defeats Club América in MLS Preseason Friendly
LAFC received a current Liga MX Champion Club América at BMO Stadium Tuesday night as we are 11 days out from the start of MLS Season and only a week out from LAFCS debut in the CONCACAF Champions League against Colorado. A portion of the ticket sales will be used to aid the victims of the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.

The Game Started off with a violent start as Alvaro Fidalgo received a foul one minute into the game. America generated most of their chances from the right side with Brian Rodriguez and Christian Borja creating chances For Victor Davila and Alex Zendejas to no avail. The Second half would be off to a fiery start however with Denis Bouanga getting a goal at the 46th minute following a defensive error by Sebastian Cáceres. Fourteen minutes later Academy player Nathan Ordaz would score LAFCS second following a bad give away on the left side of the field. Richard Sanchez would get one back for the Mexican Side at the sixty third minute. Unfortunately, the famous homophonic chant would be heard in the 65th minute, but things did not escalate beyond that.
