It’s been a week since Cruz Azul broke its Cruzazuleada Curse and claimed its first title in 23 years, and teams are already looking to bring in players for next season. Here are the top transfer rumors floating around.
America Looking to Raid Santos…….Again!
It’s said Solari is looking at an old America transfer buddy in Santos for two players to boost his current squad. Brazilian defender Matheus Doria and Uruguayan midfielder Fernando Gorriaran are the two players he’s targeting.
Fernando Beltran Looking For Minutes
The Chivas youngster is looking for more minutes next season after averaging only 22.7 minutes last season for El Rebano and he is looking for a team that seems to be embracing youth as of late in La Comarca with Santos.
Chivas Heavily Linked With Multiple Moves
El Rebano is looking to rebuild after a disastrous season and has been linked with multiple possible moves. Hugo Beltran is said to be on his way to Chivas to take over the goal. Free Agent Orbelin Pineda is also rumored to be considering a return to Guadalajara. Mextranjeros Erick Gutierrez and Rodolfo Pizarro are also rumored to be looking to come back to Liga MX, and Chivas would welcome them both.
Monterrey Looking Outside of Liga MX for Refuerzos
La Pandilla is looking to build on last year’s squad by bringing in Goalkeeper Tiago Volpi from Sao Paulo and bringing back Mextranjero Hector Moreno.
Leo Fernandez is a Hot Commodity
Tigres’ Leo Fernandez is rumored to be on several team’s radars. Atlas and Cruz Azul were early front runners for the Uruguayan attacking midfielder. However, oddly enough, it’s recently been speculated a reunion with former manager Tuca Ferretti at FC Juarez is a possibility.
