LIGA MX LIGUILLA ODDS AND MONEY LINES TO WIN IT ALL

The Liga MX Repechaje is over and we now have our final eight teams remaining. So let’s look at the remaining teams and the money lines and odds they have to win it all.

Cruz Azul

La Maquina finished the league as it Super Lider and fell just short in their bid to break the all time points record for a short tournament. Cruz Azul have been consistent this year on both ends of the pitch tying for 1st in goals and having the stingiest defense in the tournament. Odds of Cruz Azul breaking its championship drought are 23% and the money line holds @+240.

America

Las Aguilas could have been top of the league had it not been for the ineligible player issue they had against Atlas. The game cost America three points and added three goals to their goals received tally. Scolari’s squad has received mixed reactions from fans and pundits alike, after some below-par performances late in the tournament. Odds are still in favor of America winning their 14th title as they are even with Cruz Azul at 23% and a money line of +240.

Monterrey

Los Rayados have had an irregular season, to say the least, El Vasco’s first year back in Liga MX has not been easy with the team at times looking like legit contenders at times and completely lost at others. If they find defensive solidity they can make a run, oddsmakers feel the same giving them a 21% chance of adding another title to their cabinet. The money line has them @+500.

Puebla

The surprise team of Liga MX had a superb run in the league and has proven itself to be a dangerous team. La Franja finished third in the standings beating out Monterrey by goal differential. The oddsmakers were not impressed with Puebla, however, giving them only a 6% chance of winning the title, the money line speaks the same @+800.

Atlas

The aforementioned game against America was key in helping La Academia secure a Repechaje home game and making it to the Elite Eight. Cocca has been able to solidify his defense and midfield as the season progressed but their lack of goalscoring may come back to haunt them. Los Zorros were given a 10% chance of ending their long championship drought and a Moneyline of +800.

Santos

Los Laguneros started the season red hot going undefeated in six games beating the likes of Cruz Azul and Tigres in that streak. They cooled off a bit in the middle and late season but showed their firepower in a 5-0 thumping of Los Gallos in their last match. Even with their last showing they only have an 8% chance of adding another championship and the money line for them to win stands @+900.

Pachuca

Los Tuzos may be one of the more dangerous lower seeds in the Liguilla, winning their last three games to sneak into the Repechaje and outscoring their opponents 9-3 in their last two games. Pachuca had one of the highest shot per game average but failed to convert those opportunities to goals. Los Tuzos may be getting hot at just the right time. Odds however remain low at 7% and their money line matches @+1100.

Toluca

Los Diablos have been an enigma this year, to say the least. They are capable of putting on goal-fests like their 4-4 game against Puebla or snoozers like their 0-0 draw with San Luis. Cristante will hope the Sambueza-Canelo connection is as lethal during the Liguilla as it was during the regular season. The odds only give Toluca a 3% chance and their Moneyline is @+1100.
