5. Tigres

Tigres were fierce on the field and in the stands against America. Los Universitarios had an incredible first half, showing the offensive damage the could do when they are on their best level. Although they tied last weekend, Tigres were deemed worthy to be in our rankings list.

4. America

Why America over Tigres? Well with all the missing players America has due to injury, they were still able to compete with Tigres and their full squad. Miguel Herrera and his team are now the only undefeated team in the league but how long will that last?

3. Necaxa

We don’t think it’s necessary to say why Necaxa is here. They ended Santos’ unbeaten streak at home and then, they defeated Chivas in Guadalajara. Los Rayos has definitely broken some quinelas recently and might continue to do it again.

2. Leon

Leon has been known for scoring a lot of goals recently and last Saturday was one of those days. With Jose Juan Macias and Angel Mena on the field, there’s no doubt Queretaro couldn’t keep up after receiving four goals, saying goodbye to their streak. Will they do the same against Santos next week?

1. Santos

Santos continues its dominance on top of the Liga MX table and our list. Last week, they took down Monterrey in Torreon and it only took them five minutes to do. Goals from Julio Furch and Erick Castillo at the beginning of the first half was enough for another win over Los Rayados.
