We are halfway through the Liga MX and many things can still happen. Make sure you let us know what you think about this week’s rankings!

5. San Luis

Los Potosinos have shown they have what it takes to play in first division. This past weekend, Atletico San Luis stunned Los Tuzos in Pachuca with a 2-0 victory and a dominating performance. They’re closing in on playoff position, meaning, other Liga MX teams need to be careful and not underestimate the level of San Luis.

4. FC Juarez

The most surprising win and quinella breaker happened in Ciudad Juarez when Los Bravos defeated Monterrey by the minimum score of 1-0. Even though FC Juarez has had trouble this season, they made a great accomplishment beating one of the most expensive teams in the league.

3. Atlas

Atlas is another team worth mentioning in our list after ending Club America’s undefeated streak in Jalisco. It was a memorable night for the fans, the team, and 19-year-old Christopher Trejo. Trejo scored his first goal since debuting with Los Rojinegros. A great way to finish a 3-0 win for his team against America.

2. Necaxa

Necaxa came back in the second half while they were down 1-2 and ended with a 3-2 victory in Estadio Victoria. Los Rayos currently has the best offense with 17 goals and has not seen a loss in their last four games. Necaxa will definitely stay comfortable being in the top 8 throughout the tournament and fight for the title.

1. Queretaro

Victor Manuel Vucetich has done an impressive job with Los Gallos so far this season that it’s no wonder why they’re at the top of the table. Queretaro has managed to take only one loss and have one of the best defense in the league. As Santos Laguna trails behind them, it should be an interesting battle to see who will be the ‘Super Lider’ at the end of the Apertura.
