LIGA MX REPECHAJE ODDS, MONEYLINES, AND PICKS, AND PARLAY
It is time again for that glorious weekend known as the Liga MX Repechaje. This weekend eight teams will vie for four spots in the Liguilla. Let’s check the odds, moneylines, and pics for this week’s games.
THE MONEY LINES
Moneylines are accurate as of 10/07/2022 @ noon.
The line makers have Tigres and Cruz Azul as the only clearcut favorites in this weekend’s games. Toluca vs Juarez and Puebla vs Chivas both have positive lines.
THE ODDS
The numbers have Tigres, Cruz Azul, and Toluca as heavy favorites, while the Puebla vs Chivas match is only separated by a 12% advantage for Los Camoteros.
THE PICKS
TIGRES VS NECAXA
Tigres missed qualifying for the Liguilla by two points, so they may be looking to prove a point. Necaxa was the last to qualify for the repechaje even after not getting a W in their last five matches. It would be dumb to against Gignac in the playoofs, Im taking Tigres.
CRUZ AZUL VS LEON
What can I say about Cruz Azul…..they managed to rebound from the humiliating 7-0 loss to America and won five of their last seven games, and are currently on a four game win streak. Leon
TOLUCA VS FC JUAREZ
Toluca and Nacho Ambriz finally seem to be putting it together and are a dark horse candidate. One of the first hurdles they’ll have to jump is a familiar one. Hernan Cristante and Alfredo Talavera, both historic Diablo keepers, returning to Toluca. I’m going with Juarez for the upset.
PUEBLA VS CHIVAS
Now we come to the most evenly matched match of the round. Puebla was the king of the draw this tournament, having 10 matches end in a stalemate. Larcamon’s men know his tactics to perfection and are a difficult team to beat. For their part, Chivas has been a complete enigma this tournament. On a good night, they can hang four goals on you and dominate, and on a bad day, they can give up four goals and look horrible. Im going with consistency on this one, give me Puebla.
THE PARLAY
So to add it all up, my parlay for this round is Tigres @-195, Cruz Azul @+110, Juarez @+320, and Puebla @+155 for a total money line of +3302. With the traditional wager of $100, payout would be around $3400. Not a bad round
