MY PICKS
NECAXA VS PACHUCA
Los Rayos host Los Tuzos after thumping Santos for their first win of the season. On the other side, Pachuca is coming off their first loss of the season against Leon. The moneylines have Pachuca as a slight favorite and that’s who I’m going with, Los Tuzos @+165.
AMERICA VS SAN LUIS
Las Aguilas have not gotten off to the start they were expecting and come into this game winless. San Luis will have new manager Andre Jardine watching on as they try and get their first W of the season. I’m taking Solari’s men to get their first win, Aguilas @-195.
XOLOS VS UNAM
Xolos is coming off their second loss of the season, while UNAM had their impressive start stopped by Tigres. Even with their recent loss, I think Pumas will shake it off and return to their beginning form. Give me Pumas @+200.
GALLOS VS PUEBLA
Queretaro is coming off a hard-fought draw against Chivas, while Puebla is currently the unexpected Super Lider of this competition. I look for Los Camoteros to remain undefeated, give me Puebls @+205.
ATLAS VS SANTOS
Santos will be looking to bounce back after getting rocked by Necaxa in their last match. La Academia is coming off a good win against America. Give me the champs to remain undefeated, Atlas @+115.
TIGRES VS MAZATLAN
Mazatlan will be looking for their first win of the season when they visit El Volcan. Tigres will look to make it two wins in a row after beating Pumas away last round. I’ll take Tigres @-220.
LEON VS CRUZ AZUL
Leon handed Pachuca their 1st loss last round, while La Maquina drew in a sloppy game against Los Rayados. While a draw @+210 may be the way to go on this one, I’m taking Cruz Azul @+250.
MY PARLAY
This week I’m going with a four-team parlay. I’m picking Pachuca, Puebla, Pumas, and America. The total moneyline will be +3568, with our traditional $100 wager, payout looks to be around $3669. Not too shabby.
