LIGA MX WEEK 12, MONEYLINES, ODDS, PICKS, AND PARLAY

The International break is over, and Liga MX will be back this weekend. Here are this round’s moneylines, odds, picks, and my parlay for Round 12.

THE MONEYLINES

Moneylines are accurate as of 3/29/2022 at 1 p.m.

THE ODDS

Odds are provided by Fivethirtyeight.com.

THE PICKS

SAN LUIS VS MAZATLAN

San Luis seemed to be picking up steam after drawing with Chivas and beating undefeated Puebla, then shockingly lost to Queretaro. Mazatlan has struggled to win their third match of the tournament after two early victories against Xolos and America. San Luis seems to be the better of the two, give me Atletico.

CRUZ AZUL VS ATLAS

La Academia has not lost in three games, while La Maquina had a two-game winning streak ended by Pachuca before the International break. This will be a battle between Atlas’ stingy defense and Cruz Azul’s explosive offense. I’m going with a draw.

NECAXA VS AMERICA

America comes into this match on a two-game unbeaten streak, winning just their second game before the break. Necaxa is on a similar streak, with Jimmy Lozano’s arrival catapulting Los Rayos into a playoff position. While America seems to be playing better, the Rayos has found new life, give me Necaxa.

CHIVAS VS MONTERREY

Postponed

BRAVOS VS UNAM

Bravos is on a four-game losing streak and it looks bleak for the fronterizos for the rest of the season. UNAM’s rollercoaster season continues as they’ve won, lost, and drawn in their last three matches. Tuca doesn’t seem to have any answers for his team this season, I’ll take Pumas.

TOLUCA VS PUEBLA

Nacho Ambriz has not been able to get Toluca to be consistent this year. They have lost their past two matches by a score of 3-0. Puebla bounced back after their first defeat of the season drawing against Santos. Give me La Franja.

LEON VS GALLOS

Leon bounced back from their CONCACAF Champions League elimination by beating Mazatlan. Gallos was able to defeat San Luis in their “mock” home. I’m taking Leon.

TIGRES VS XOLOS

Tigres is currently the hottest team in Liga MX. Piojo’s men have not tasted defeat since their Week 2 loss to Puebla. Xolos recovered from the 4-0 shellacking Santos gave them beating struggling Bravos. I’m sticking with UANL, give me Tigres.

SANTOS VS PACHUCA

Pachuca is on an eight-game unbeaten streak and tops the league table. Santos has only lost one of their last five matches. A draw in this game may be a good pick, however, I’m taking Pachuca.

MY PARLAY

For my Parlay this week, I’m taking three away squads and one home squad. Im going with Necaxa @+180, Pumas @+155, Puebla @+165, and Pachuca @+150. That gives us a total moneyline of +4630. With our traditional $100 wager, the total payout will be $4,730.25.
