Los Mextranjeros match up Weekend Preview

With the year so far on a good note, we have another weekend of Mextranejro Action coming up. Let’s Break down who will be playing and what to expect this weekend.

Hector Hererra and Atletico Madrid (La Liga)

Atletico Madrid will be playing in a La Liga matchup as they currently sit in first place on the table. They will be facing Valencia who is in 14th place and seems all the odds are against them headed to this matchup. We are expecting that Hector Hererra will be in the starting lineup for this match and will surely have an impact to secure a victory on Sunday.

Andres Guardado and Diego Lainez, Real Betis (La Liga)

Both Mextranjeros have the opportunity to start in this upcoming matchup on Saturday Against La Ligas’s sixth-place Real Sociedad. Betis currently sits in eighth place so this will be a pretty solid and evened-out matchup. Guardado had missed out on some matches recently due to COVID-19 but was back in the squad for their matchup against Celta De Vigo. Lainez has been getting more minutes of play and we hope to see plenty of him in the upcoming weeks.

Nestor Araujo and Celta De Vigo (La Liga)

Nestor will be sure to be in the starting lineup as the 12th place team is set to face Eibar who currently sits in 16th place in La Liga. Nestor and Celta faced Real Betis and got a chance to play against Andres Guardado and Diego Lainez as well. Even though they Celta lost 2-1 to Real Betis it was an interesting matchup to see three Mextranjeros in one match.

Hirving Lozano and Napoli (Serie A)

Napoli is currently sitting in third placing in the Italian league and is set to have a solid matchup against Verona on Sunday. Chucky Lozano has been a major impact on Napoli recently and has continued to show growth and development which will serve a great purpose when called up to international duties. It is most likely we will see him in the starting line up for this matchup.

Edson Alvarez and PSV (Eredivisie)

PSV is set to face RKC Waalwijk this weekend. PSV currently sits in third place in the league table as for RKC is in 15TH. It is a pretty uneven matchup but surprises can happen to any team good or bad. Edson has seen several starts with PSV and this matchup should be no different.
