Ochoa keeps stealing the spotlight in Italy
Guillermo Ochoa keeps having an impressive season with U.S. Salernitana. Today, during the 29 matchday of the Serie A, he was essential in the draw that his team was able to get from Inter Milan, who are fourth in the season.
He intervened on six occasions, having a particularly impressive save at the 63’ when after a corner kick, Romelu Lukaku headed the ball on the cross bar, leaving the ball still in play in Ochoa’s box. Inter’s goal scorer of the game, Robin Gosens, headed the ball a second time, but Ochoa, who at this point was still inside the goal due to Lukaku’s first strike, sprang up towards the ball and avoided the goal by mere centimeters.
After another impressive save following a shot from Lukaku, the Belgian striker could be seen frustrated and almost incredulous of the great form of Ochoa. Even the official twitter account of the Serie A, pulled a joke on twitter, showing a brick wall and saying that was Ochoa’s performance. The goalkeeper even said that Inter players congratulated him after the game.
With this point, Salernitana places itself on the 15 spot of 20, and 10 points ahead of relegation positions with 29 points.
Chuky’s Napoli keeps Winning
Napoli once again took the victory, this time against Lecce playing away. The Mexican had a good game coming out as a starter, and being subbed by midfielder Tanguy Ndombele just after his team scored the winning goal. Napoli remain first in the league, with 19 points ahead of Lazio, who have one game less and will square off against Juventus this Sunday.
