USA VS MEXICO: TOP 10 MOST EXPENSIVE PLAYERS
The countdown continues to the anticipated matchup between archrivals Mexico and the USA. Both teams are in the top 15 in the FIFA Men’s Rankings, Mexico at #9 and the USA at #13, but how do their players rank as far as current valuation. Here are Mexico and the USA’s Top Ten Most Expensive Players.
10. Yunus Musah- $16.50 Million
The Valencia youngster has seen a steady increase in value this year.
9. Edson Alvarez- $18.70 Million
El Machin has seen his stock rise as he continues to solidify himself in the Ajax and El Tri midfield.
8. Tyler Adams- $22.00 Million
Adams’ value seems to have plateaued this year, and the inclusion of Jesse Marsh hasn’t had the desired boost.
7. Weston McKennie- $27.50 Million
McKennie’s value has also remained the same as he has been caught up in the turmoil currently at Juventus.
6. Raul Jimenez- $30.80 Million
El Lobo’s value has seen a sharp decline since his injury, however, his performances have improved as of late, so a jump in value is sure to follow.
5. Sergino Dest- $33.00 Million
Dest has been a bit of a bright spot for the dreadful Barcelona squad. His play for the US has massively improved as of late as well.
4. Jesus Corona- $33.00 Million
After a sharp increase in value during the summer transfer window, El Tecatito has had a rough start to the season, stalling the barrage of transfer rumors.
3. Giovanni Reyna- $46.20 Million
The young American was having a stellar season until injuries halted him. That injury will keep him from the upcoming match, but look for him to have a bounce-back in 2022.
2. Hirving Lozano- $49.50 Million
Like Jimenez, Lozano had a horrific injury halt the momentum he had going. El Chucky has battled back and is starting to make up for lost time and looking to regain his peak level.
1. Christian Pulisic- $55.00 Million
Pulisic has followed up a great summer with an injury-riddled fall. His value remains high, though not as high as his peak value of $66.00 Million.
