Xolos is eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to Leon.

The game ran in favor of both teams as they showed their attacking prowess. Xolos, being the home team, had a lot to prove and was not going to allow the visiting team to take the victory. The clear penalty was taken by Leonardo Ramos at minute 56 and Leon made the second goal of the night. Xolos, a bit frustrated with the result, played aggressively, with their defender, Leonel Miranda, taking a hard touch on the Leon goalie, causing him to get a red card at minute 58. Xolos kept attacking in search of the goal but kept missing and coming up short.
Minutes before the end of the match, a penalty kick was given to Xolos. Camilo kicked the ball with strength and sent it straight into the net. At minute 89 Xolos scored their first goal of the match. Leon already secured a playoff spot without worry and took with them the three points.
